The Foundation's Origin
The Blade Foundation was born from the memory of Bradford "Blade" Brown, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Houston on June 7, 2023. Beyond being a cherished friend and rider, Blade was a central pillar of his home—providing critical financial support and serving as a devoted role model to his younger siblings. In the wake of his passing, friends and family rallied together through grassroots fundraising to ease the immediate financial strain on his family as they navigated an unimaginable loss.
Blade’s story reflects a heartbreaking reality known all too well within the riding community. Loss impacts more than just feelings; it leaves families facing urgent, overwhelming obligations. Established in July 2026, The Blade Foundation turns shared grief into active support. We assist the families of motorcycle riders facing sudden loss or life-altering injuries, serving riders across every discipline—from daily commuters and street riders to track racers and stunt athletes.
